A tribute to Brian Hayes – One of our own

posted in: News | 0

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of one of our own – Brian Hayes, a keen Millwall supporter

Brian was a dedicated paramedic who pioneered the London booze bus. The father-of-three pioneered the specialist alcohol service, “the booze bus”, back in 2005 to ease pressure on emergency services over Christmas. Brian was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on Sunday morning; he had been to watch the Millwall v Blackpool day the previous day.

AMS would like to extend our sincere condolences to Brian’s family. We join countless tributes to Brian that have been expressed via social media. He was popular man and will be sad loss for our club & communities.

If you wish to make a donation for Brian’s family,  you can do so via the Cold Blow Lane magazine Paypal account: CBLthemag@hotmail.co.uk if you could mark the donation “ForBrian”.

“Brian was a big personality and will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.”
